Neurological Infectious Diseases

The Division of neurologic Infections and Inflammatory Diseases cares for patients with primary neurologic infections or World Health Organization has neurologic complications of general infections. We tend to work closely with alternative specialties to diagnose and manage these conditions, whether or not as inpatients or outpatients. Several infectious and inflammatory diseases will have an effect on the brain, medulla spinals, peripheral nerves, neuro muscular junction (the association between the nerve end and also the muscle), or the muscles. This could occur within the setting of concomitant sickness elsewhere within the body, or it will be isolated to the systema nervosum. Reckoning on what a part of the systema nervosum is affected and that sickness is that the diagnosing, symptoms will vary wide.
